“Roadtrip Nation,” a PBS series that encourages college kids to get out and search for what they really want to do in life by interviewing people in various professions about how they came into their particular lines of work, makes a stop at Lake Highlands High School this week.
The event takes place beginning at 9:30 a.m., Nov. 6, in the high school auditorium. The presentation is open to students enrolled in Richardson, Garland, and Arlington ISDs.
After a talk by “Roadtrip” co-founder Mike Marriner and a video of excerpts from previous episodes, a couple of high school students will have the opportunity to conduct a “Roadtrip” interview on stage with state Rep. Carol Kent as an example of the type of interview the program encourages.
